Tybee Island Family Portrait ~ Tybee Island Family Photographer

How about some beach photos for this lovely Wednesday morning to get you thinking about that good ole’ summertime! This cute family was down in Savannah for the week to attend a family wedding on Tybee Island. We planned a day for some family beach photos that would work in their vacation schedule, but the rain threatened all day. On my drive out to Tybee, I kept talking to the sky asking if it would stop raining for just about an hour and then it could go on about its glory and water the land. I guess someone heard me. The rain stopped for several hours and we were able to fit in a fun excursion on the north end of Tybee Island. These kiddos are too cute and we had so much fun bringing out their laughter. Enjoy!

50th Anniversary Portrait – Savannah Portrait Photographer

Can I tell you how much I love this couple? They are too sweet! Mrs. W. called me up and told me about her Wall of Generations leading up the stairway at her home. She explained that it includes 5 generations of her family and she needed to add to it. Mr. and Mrs. W’s 50th Anniversary was that month and they needed the oh so “rogue” portrait to place on their wall – she was wondering if I could do that sort of thing. I told her that it wasn’t my specialty, but I’d love to help them out. I suggested we start with the studio portrait and then head to a beautiful spot and take some fun shots too.

That day was full of jokes, laughs and smiles. This couple is a hoot and I now know why they’ve been married for 50 years – Mr. W. makes Mrs. W. laugh, not just once a day, but hundreds of times a day. They are both true kids at heart and it was so great to be apart of their small celebration! Congratulations on 50 great years!
